Frequently asked questions
Do we need to install anything for the demo?
No. We show Cryptoramic online using example data. Running an assessment on your own systems is a separate step, with an agreed scope and someone responsible for the work.
Where does our data go during an assessment?
The application and inventory run on infrastructure you control. An offline scan can collect results without connecting to the application; you transfer those results later. Before starting, agree which systems can be accessed and who may transfer or share the findings.
How large should the first scope be?
Start with one application, network segment or set of software images, and someone who can act on the findings. Use that assessment to decide what to investigate next. You do not need to scan the whole organization to get started.
Is a first assessment a commitment?
The demo and initial discussion are free of obligation. An assessment is separate work: its scope and commercial terms are agreed in a proposal before it starts.
Can a regional partner run the assessment?
Yes. Partners combine Cryptoramic with local advice and delivery expertise, and can scope, run and interpret an assessment with you. You can also work directly with us.
